When u join any PTC site, you will get an referral link ! If anyone click this link and register, you get money from his clicks too ! There are 3 types of referrals:

1. Direct referrals: the ones that clicked your referral link and registered.

2. Rented referrals: Almost every paid to click site can rent referrals ! Renting period usually is 1 month and cost around 0.20$-0.70$ each, depends if you are free or premium member ! Recommended

3. Buy referrals: More expensive than rented referrals, but you get to keep them forever !
